Default Automatic transmission

I have a 2004 honda Accord EX 2.4L . I just observed that when the car changes gear it jerks. I have just added injector cleaner today and it is still doing. Would it be dirty transmission fluid. Please can anyone advise me on what to do to fix the problem

I read this "Low or dirty transmission fluid can cause the transmission to slip or jerk."

Does this car have a transmission fluid dip stick? Check to see if it has clean transmission fluid. I think it does have a transmission fluid dip stick. Check to see if it is clean and not burnt.

Just be careful (just a suggestion, not trying to tell you what to do) and do research before you change the transmission fluid if you think it's dirty or even clean. Make sure you use the right transmission fluid also. Honda has also changed their formula on their Honda Genuine Transmission fluid. From ATF-Z1 to DW-1 . I heard people claim that DW-1 is synthetic. But from some of the research I have done they say it's not synthetic. Because if it's an older car (that has a lot of miles on it) you may have to be careful on what transmission fluid is put in there. There is just also a lot of rumors and myths about adding certain transmission fluids.

I would also search "2003-04 Honda Accord Transmission Problems" I think one article says something about a recall. That there had to be a special kit being installed. But since this article is so old, I'm not sure how true the article is.

But I did read on another forum that you have to check the VIN to see if your vehicle is one of those that fit. It said something about it being a V6. And it gave a list of VIN numbers.
