Balancer Shaft

Default Balancer Shaft

THe balancer shaft that is driven by the oil pump. I replace the seals in it ( the oil pump ).When I did this I did not lock the balancer shaft. Does anyone know how to time this shaft (The oil pump side balancer shaft) to TOP DEAD CENTER. Ifthe motor can be rebuilt Im sure theres a way.

Do you have a repair manual like Helms or Haynes? It should tell you in there.

I downloaded a honda RM from the internet but it must not be complete because I cant find the timeing stuff.May guess isthat the balancer shaft can only be locked in one position anyway. The whole that is in the balancer shaft (Oil pump side) does it go all the way through ? If not then the balancer shaft can only be locked in one positionwhich must beTDC.
