Battery still Drains with New Alternator 91 Accord
I finally received the OEM Pulley on the 7th Oct and put it on the car. When i took off the old pulley it came off in 2 pieces.
The outer ring with the groves separated from the rubber. Now the car charges at 14.11 volts when idling so i guess that was my problem.
Now i have to fix a squeaky belt because i think it's on too tight.
Thanks for all your advice you have been a big help.

posted a thread, and i couldnt see it on my computer(not sure if it is because im a new member),so i reposted it in this old thread...all i did last night was upgrade the ground wires from 16 guage to 8,and i added some, and now it charges up from 11.60 with the lights on to 13.+,and with the lights off 11.40 to 13.+. im not sure this fixed the problem, but the car is old,and he also had radio power, and ign wires open sitting on the ashtray.again im not sure that that fixxed it,after work im goint to test drive it,and let it run at iddle a little longer...thanks for the help
