Default Before I throw money away

I have a 05 accord manual 2.4 L 4cyl. Every time the car starts, it turns over 3 or 4 times before it cranks up. I have not had the chance to check the battery, but I know it's the right size. I got the car in December.. So should I maybe start with plugs and wires. I bought it from a used car Lot, so I don't know when the last tune up was performed on it..

It's got individual coils on each plug, so there's no distributor or plug wires. Spark plugs are supposed to go 100k miles, so what's the miles on your car?

About 132000. I talked to a guy at the used car lot yesterday as well and he said the car hasn't been tuned up.. To his recolition.

IF it's never had new sparkplugs, then its past due for them. I'd hate for you to do a lot of searching around just to find out it was simply old sparkplugs. It's good for the routine stuff to be up-to-date before searching for problems.

Best to use either NGK or Denso plugs.

Cool deal.. That's where I will start then. I am also want to get some sound out of it. (Motor) Is this possible with a 4cyl WITHOUT making it sound like a pis$ed off Bumble bee? I told my wife(the money mgmt) I wanted short ram or cold air intake, and/or an exhaust. As I said though, the rice burner sound bugs the crap out me.

my friend has your car and has a powerhouse muffler and sounds really deep, not very loud but louder than stock. almost like a 350z tone to an extent. that with an intake would be fine.
