Best Rotors for Replacement for '94 Accord?
My brakes are way past due for new everything so new pads and rotors are on the list. My personal observation of my Accord which I've now taken to 328,000 miles is that it very effectively warps the front brake rotors after a few thousand miles, so that a pulsating brake pedal become standard operation. Does anyone out there have any recommendations for replacements? I see Brembo and various slotted/drilled rotors out there being sold and am willing to try non-OEM given the not so good performance of the factory rotors.

I've not had any serious problems w/ rotors w/ 250K miles on my 94EX. I've only swapped one set since 90K miles. I used Autozone rotors (don't know brand).
Make sure your calipers are not sticking (piston does not relax when pressure is released) and your caliper pins/boots are good shape and well lubed.
Corrosion build up between the wheel/rotor may also contribute to rotor vibration,... and tire wear.
Basically, generic rotors (Chinese) are probably as good as any stock rotor IMO. I'm sure others will have different opinion in any case.
good luck

Hmmm, if the rotors warp that quickly, I would suspect a different issue. My first suspect would be either the calipers themselves, or the associated mounting and slide hardware.
Long story short, if you have something else going on, even the best Brembo or drilled/slotted/anodized/chromed/magic application is going to keep them from hot-spotting or warping.

Thanks guys. I should have asked long ago if this was an inherent issue with the Accord but maybe I stand corrected! I'm going to either rebuild the calipers or replace in any event. Thanks for your input!

Try giving some Brembo blank rotors a try. You don't need drilled/slotted, they are useless and just eat through pads on the street. Another option worth looking into is Centric Premium rotors. I have these on my car and love them.
I'd also get some decent pads, and make sure to bed them in properly. Rebuilding calipers is a good idea as well, and is very easy.
