Default Brake Lamp Warning Light On

This morning when I started my Accord ( 2000 EX sedan, 4 cyl. ) I noticed that the Brake Lamp warning light stayed on. I checked my rear brake lights. Right rear light works but the left rear and rear window light don't. Please advise.
Thanks much for any help.

Check the bulbs for those. There is a "split" in the wires from the right rear that then goes to the center and left but lets start with the bulbs.

Thanks for the reply. I had my local Honda service dept. replace both bulbs. The brake lamp warning light is now off and brake lights work fine, so far. I thought that it was unusual for two brake light bulbs to burn out at the same time but the service rep told me that it's actually not that unusual. If you think that it could still be a wiring issue, how soon before the new bulbs would burn out ? Thanks much !

Should be fine, if the bulbs were good...then the wires would have been "next" on the list.

Since it was the bulbs...no worries and you are good to go.

Enjoy.
