Default Brand new 2009 Accord with AC question

I have owned Accords for many years. This is the first time I've had my ac blow out hot air - for a split second- then return to cold air. No specific condition can be determined. It happens when I'm idling, or stop and go traffic and/or highway driving. There are no noises or power changes noticed. Been back to the dealer 3 times. They finally said that all the new Accords do this. They said they called the factory to see if this was a "feature" of the new ac systems and was told yes. Has anyone else
noticed this?

A "feature"?? I don't know why that would be useful...

For quite a few years, most cars will disengage the AC compressor when you really stand on the gas pedal. Is this the situation?

One reason you don't feel any power difference is the motorized throttle compensates for it.
