Default Broken Axle shaft

1991 Accord Wagon. 5 Speed. The drivers side axle shaft is broken at or slightly
inside of the tranny.

Any suggestions? The Colonel is really stuck. No matter how weird your
idea, lets hear it! I will try anything, ANYTHING I say!

Do you mean to say the stub of the inner CV joint has snapped off?
If this is the problem...drill into the stub and tap it to be able to screw a bolt in...then use a slide hammer to pop out the stub

Sure, if it's broken inside the tranny axle seal. Stuff that area with grease first, to catch the shavings. Or figure out some other way to prevent the shavings from going inside...
