Default Bulb replacement for headlight

Should I get the Silverstar Ultra or go for something more expensive like the PIAA 19616 HB4-9006 Xtreme White Plus 51=115-Watt Bulb? http://www.amazon.com/PIAA-19616-HB4...7248657&sr=8-1

I've read some reviews about the ultras burning out within a year multiple times but once the oem bulbs are put back in they work fine. Has anyone used the PIAA bulb before?

I bought those "fancy" Silverstar headlights at wal mart and i have to say that they do work a little better but most of the difference isn't in iluminating the road, it is in the way the headlights look....they do look pretty cool. (im not sure if they look $40 worth of cool though.)

I'm more concerned about how long they will last. I've been hearing that they go out in about 6 months because the life on those bulbs are around 300hrs.

I already got mine and installed them for almost a month now. Was only $20 after rebate. Hopefully mine lasts for at least a yr or else I'll just put the stock bulbs back in.

same here, i have yet to fill out the rebate form though! they are a lot brighter than stock and are made by the same company as the stock bulbs(sylvanna).
