That would be the TCS - Traction control system.

If you are doing burn outs -which I would not do, you are just beating on stuff for what reason? - there is a switch to turn it off.

That's the TCS (Traction Control System) Activation Indicator. The system has detected wheel spin and is regulating it.

The ABS/TCS modulator-control unit applies brake pressure to the spinning wheel. At the same time, the ABS/TCS modulator-control unit sends an engine retard signal to the ECM/PCM to prevent damage to the transmission.

You can turn off the TCS with the button on the dash; however, if you're just trying to show off or something by doing a tire burn-out with the TCS off, you risk damaging the transmission or something else.

Yea, with the time zone difference I've got a few extra hours of coffee , even though I'm not fully awake yet.

Understood......please don't take the comments the wrong way, I too have the every now and then "what the heck" as long as I'm not putting ANYONE, including myself, in danger.

Again there is a switch to turn it off. Usually the only reason to do so is if you get stuck in snow or mud.

If taken care of and not abused - the Accord will last a LONG time
