Thumbs up

Took a chance and I actually had a little bit of Good Luck today for a change...

I decided to stop in my local pick and pull junkyard, which is literally 10 minutes away from my house. Paid my $1 entry fee to walk around and within 2 minutes found a 1991 Accord with the 2.2 engine and an automatic.

Scavenged the TCM (same exact number mine had), and since I also had a Code 12 (EGR), also grabbed the EGR valve and the box that bolts to the firewall that has all the vacuum hoses coming out of it, one of which goes to the EGR valve...

Came home and swapped the stuff onto my car while the battery was unhooked, and NO MORE CEL, and NO MORE D4 light flashing/shifting issues!!

Spent a grand total of $64 and took care of both issues. A good day indeed.

Thanks for the replies guys! I appreciate it!

There's a 5 speed 91 Accord 2 door on my local Craigslist that needs a grill, hood and both headlights, for $600 or best offer. Junkyard guy said he'd sell me that stuff for $135, so I am thinking about buying it, swapping on the good used parts and re-selling it to make a few bucks since I am currently laid off.

You could turn a loss into a gain. Sounds like a good deal.
