Hi.. i'm new here... currently i'm driving Proton Wira 1.6.. soon i gona change to Honda.. Juz wana ask or get some advise from otai2 here... i'm admire with Accord CF4... there's one CF4 in mudah.com selling at RM55k... year 1997/2001 millage about 200k... I allready meet the seller and he said he just replace the tiptronic gearbox 2 years ago (buy gearbox from Munn Lee at RM5k) n i'm gona test drive it today...my query is:

1. Is't wort buying this car ? ( planing tu buy in cash but negotiable of course)
2. Did any body now performence of this car?
3. What is pro n con if buying this car? because millage over 200k

Cant really help you out with the whole is the price fair as I'm not sure what they go for over there, and dont know what currancy you are using.

They are a good car, and if you mean 200km then thats not bad, if it has 200,000 miles on it than it is starting to get up there.

the "performance" is pretty good, the engine makes good power stock, and has a someone good aftermarket support.

if you buy it make sure to post pictures

by the way thank you for your opinion... let me discribe again... i'm gona buy accord cf4 (it was a recond car year 1997) from somebody (also malaysian) at price RM 55,000.00 in cash... for your information, the owner told me that he just replace the gearbox two years ago... he get the gearbox from halfcut here in malaysia... the gear box that he replace were taken from same car(2001)...just want to know are the cf4 gearbox got problem when it reach millage at 200,000 km? is it true thar cf4 tiptronic is very sensitife? that all..tq

 

yeah i cant really tell you if its a common problem, as the car was never offered in the US[:@]
