Default buying a wagon

Im looking into buying a 1991 accord wagon. It has 148,000 miles on it. It looks to be in good shape for its age. Just wondering if there is anything i need to look for or show special attention to..? Never owned an accord. Any help would be much appreciated.! Thanks

This would be better in General Tech, so I'll move it.

Got any maintenance history?

The timing belt should've been changed before, so you'll want to know when it's due again. If you can't find out, I'd change it.

I agree with Jim. The timing belt is the main concern here, if that breaks it means rebuliding or replacing the engine. It is a somewhat costly job to do as well($500 or so). So if that has been replaced in the last 7 years or 85,000 thats a huge plus. But if they don't know when the last time it was replaced I'd replace it asap.

But other than that they are pretty solid cars, nothing in particiular to look out for as far as problems

Well they definitely have that, don't think there is any 85-2000ish Honda that is exempt.
