Default A/C does not change between modes

As the title states, my A/C does not change modes. It is stuck at upper vents and windshield vents. My windshield frosts sometimes because of the constant blast, which proves a problem on long road trips and sometimes even shorter commutes. My feet and the backseat gets no A/C either. The display changes but the A/C itself does not change. Does anytbody know what the problem is? Is it a motor of some sort?

There is a mode door motor but it may be a bad AC amplifier (head unit) that is bad, you will need a pin out diagram to know which pin is for which mode setting and follow its test procedures, could be a broken door rod (attached to motor) too. You will have to pull the mode motor and manually move the door rod to see if the mode changes (defrost, face, feet) to test if the door rod is broken or not.
