a/c Kit?

Hi Guys,
I was contemplating doing some ac work in my car and was looking for a kit to do the job. I wanted it to be as cheap as possible while still allowing me to do a decent job (I'm probably not going to use it very often). I found this kit on ebay:

I'm kinda new to this and want to learn in the process. I just want to know if you guys think this will allow me to do everything I need, which is to discharge the system to fix a leak and recharge. Please let me know your opinion. Thanks in advance,
J.D.

There's a lot of good instructions and reference material at autoacforum.com.
I bought my first set of gauges, built a vacuum pump, and purchased a leak detector many years ago. Thankfully, I haven't had to do AC work frequently, but when the need arises, it's very satisfying and rewarding financially. Plus you get the satisfaction of knowing it's done correctly.
Basically all AC systems are the same mechanically (controls vary), so once you've learned the basics you can work on any car.
good luck
