the reason why i wanted to know both low and high pressures is because if the high side is also low , it is an indication that you could be low on freon,,,,,,,,,,,if the high side is normal whilte the low side is low, you got issues with the exoansion valve ,,

if you do not have the proper equipment, i think it is a wise decision to take it to a shop..

Let us know what they say.
if the hit only scraped your bumper slightly, that might not be enough of an impact to have caused damage to the lines ..

Well, they gave it a look and ended up just putting in dye and told me to show up at the dealership immediately after anything fails again. I'm going to assume that means they checked all the other likely problems, or they think it's a leak. I may go out tomorrow with a UV light and see what I can see. I'll try to keep this post updated incase anyone else is having the same problem.
