Default A/C Problems

I have an '05 Accord and yesterday I noticed the car was making a funny noise. When the noise stopped so did the air conditioner, sort of. It is still blowing cold air, but not very hard. So would this be the blower motor that needs replacing or something else?

Are you saying the air coming out of the vents is not blowing very hard/fast? At the top there is a Sticky with Common DIY Threads. There is one in there about checking the blower resistor. It could be the motor but I would test and be sure to replace the correct part....

You need to provide a location and description of the noise; under the hood, in dash, etc. Screech, howl, rattle, etc.

The 05 Accord does not have a blower resistor block, but rather a power transistor which provides variable resistance to blower circuit.

Has the cabin air filter ever been replaced? If not, a dirty filter can cause bad smells and low cabin air flow.

good luck
