any issues ive had are usually caused by me.

i had to get the door release cable replaced (230 bucks) because i took the door panel off and frayed the cable. So i had to roll the window down to get out of the car. or if it was raining i jumped over to the passenger seat to get out.

i also had to get the steering rack replaced, that was covered by warentee (Spelling(i hate that word cause i cant spell it)) 1000 bucks.

other than that its been oil changes and tire rotations. im at about 49K miles and still running strong.

At 30K on my 06 - the steering rack and/or pump is bad and needs to be replaced - haven't taken it in for warranty repairs yet. Car is losing power assist at idle and in low speed turns, kinda like driving our 66 mustang with no P/S -- a real workout getting into parking spaces. If you rev the engine up, it kicks in the p/s. Other than that, no problems, mechanical or otherwise. Injectors are noisy. Not sure why - possibly due to 15% ethanol in fuel here. Rear brakes seem to wear out much faster than the fronts -- about 60% left on front and only 30-40% left on rear at 30k. Stock Michelin tires are about due for replacement.

Thanks GUYs for including your mileage ( both on the ticker AND when the problem was 1st noticed ) I forgot to ask for that info !!! OK only two replies BUT two steering issues ??? Anyone else you know of that hashad a BAD RACK ( if there is such a thing )

FENIX : What was the mileage at the steering problem ?? Anything YOU did ( hit a curb, drained the power steering fluid,..ect..) ???

There is never a such thing as a bad rack, all you need is a handfull of...wait...nevermind
id say that i noticed the problem at around 43K-46K. Other than the steering, the car has treated me perfectly. No problems to complain of that i havent caused myself.

I drive an 04 v6 6speed... it has 92k on the odo... i am starting to have problems with the app sensor... (accelerator position sensor). the 92k is all and i repeat ALL city driving... starting and stopping... and shifting... the sensor is an overglorified volume **** really... thats all it is... and it has brushes inside it and after a lot of use, (and i mean a lot) they give out. the sensor is about $130 from the dealer. but the car cant run without it. and by the way it only comes on the v6 models from 03 to 05 and all accords in 06 and 07. but as i stated. it has 92,000 all city driving... so for most of them i would never worry about it...
