Can a bad seat buckle cause airbag light?

Default Can a bad seat buckle cause airbag light?
Sup guys,

Can a bad seat buckle cause the red airbag warning light to go on? I have a 06 EX I4. I recall reading something concerning the tensioner on the buckle causing the airbag light to illuminate. The light goes on when i start the car and stays on.

Check the warranty. The seatbelts & airbags have a much longer warranty than the main bumber-to-bumper warranty.
