You can, but on high mile engines synthetic can end up clearing out gunk that is sealing leaks around gaskets and along your lines, so keep an eye out for that. You may have to end up replacing some parts if you switch. It shouldn't damage your engine in any other way, just watch your oil level.

I've got 161k on my car and I use high mileage with no problem.

It's a gamble. I have a friend who uses Royal Purple synthetic in his Golf with 150k and has never had a leak, on the other hand I had a friend who used synthetic in his 240sx with 120k once and ended up leaving oil stains everywhere he went and had to replace a gasket or two. In the end it's up to you if you want to use it, just make sure you're paying attention for any sort of leaks.

well i only got 104k on my 96 accord, but ya i think the previous owner, neglected oil changes for awhile and alot of carbon and deposits got built up, so this would be the 2nd oil change in the same year... i just wanna get that stuff out, then im gonna sea foam the intake, injectors, add some to the gas, and the little it says you can add to the oil to help it...

If you're going to do all that you'll probably end up needing to replace some gaskets anyway. Seafoaming can lead to leaks being unclogged as well. If you're worried about carbon deposits go for it, but if you don't think it's negatively effecting performance it might be more trouble than it's worth.

well right now, the idle is below average, like after its all warmed up, i feel it vibrate... and i dont know i think my gasket was changed before, because when i bought this, there were alot of aftermarket and replaced parts, i mean this guy left his 180 dollar tuner in this thing he took perfect care of it, except for the fact that he smoked -.-
