hey yaLL im new to this site im workin on on a 92 honda accord today the problem is when it warns up and has been running a little while 15 -20 mins or sopull into a parking spot at the store go in and get mystuff and come out and the car will not restart but eventually will if you wait a few mins .

if anyone can help me figure this out i would greatly appreciate it

when it does not start, you need to DIAGNOSE if it is lack of fuel or lack of spark.

if lack of fuel, chk the main relay,, the fuel pump

if lack of spark ,, could be coil, ignitor

there are some write ups on our DIY section .. take a few minutes and read them .

 

she says it has no crank no start .

 

how could it be fuel or spark if the car runs good the rest of the time and starts just fine when cold

 

ahhhhh ,,, well now that you gave us all the info it is a bit different .. if it has no crank,
then you got to look at battery connections, battery itself for proper charge, wiring to starter , starter issues or ignition switch,,

 

thta's exactly what it would be ,, a lack of 1 or the other ,,

spark and fuel are controlled some electrical and mechanical components that might act up as warmed up ..( mostly the electrical parts).

If the car cranks but no start and was running ok earlier you need to diagnose , if it has proper fuel pressure and spark ...
