Default Can you break in a new clutch

I just had by clutch replaced. I put in a Exedy kit. I realize now that all the sluggish-ness I was experiencing with my car was due to the a slipped clutch. Car is zipping along fantastic now. I'm really happy. And, my mechanic installed it for $300. Sweet!!

However, Dayum that new clutch is Grabby. I have to ride the clutch longer when shifting in order for it not to grab and jolt a bit when accelerating. Kinda annoying!! This is my first NEW clutch. WIll this sucker break in? Any remedies for this? thanks

It should get better after you drive it for a while. You will also get used to it more, and you wont notice it as much then. Was it an OEM replacement clutch, or like a street/strip upgraded one?

I figured it will eventually break in, or wear a bit. Just wondering how long. It's crazy to think how responsive my pick up is now off the line with a new clutch. I was tinkering with getting the forbidden motors short shifter. Think that would ease things up a bit/

oh...and here is the clutch
