Cannot put in Reverse
Hello, I'm new here. I have 2001 Honda Accord EX automatic v4. It was running good then I started I having transmission problem. The car can no longer go into reverse. Whenever I put in Reverse, it won't move the car. So I'm thinking it might be the transmission. I bought a new replacement transmission, put it all myself with the help of a friend. Opened it all and I see that the old tranny is done. Everything works good now. It can go forward. I can put it D3, D4, 1, 2 and it all work. But when I put it intoreverse, I still have the same problem. It won't move the car back. Can anybody please explain what's going on and what I need to be fix?

I checked the cable, the fluid and everything is good. I will be going back and make sure the shifter cable is properly align. But if it's not, why am I able to shift to forward and the car moves? I can put the car in Park and it stops the car. When I put into Reverse, I can feel the car moving a bit but then it stop.
