Default car making whooshing sound

Hi, I just bought a 06 accord ex 3 days ago, and about 2 days ago it started making a whooshing sound everytime I hit the breakes. It doesnt make any noise when i driving just when i start easing into the breaks. I was just wondering if anyone had an idea of what it could be, thank you so much.

Sounds to me like there could be a problem with the brake booster. How loud is the whoosh? Because if its really loud it could be a seal thats leaking on one of the sides of the brake booster. Aside from that, inspect any vacuum lines to see if they're damaged or leaking. Brake boosters make a little noise anyways, but if its excessively loud you've got a problem.

Rusty brake rotors make noise the first couple times, as the brake pads begin rubbing & clean up the rust.

Does it make the noise when you ease into the brake pedal while the car is NOT moving? If so, that would rule out rusty brake rotors as the noise.
