Clean the TB, look into also cleaning the IACV, may have to reset the base idle (most of the how to's for this in the Common DIY Threads at the top of this sections).....does this seem to happen only when the engine is cold or will it do this once to op temp?

 

Thank you for the response. That does make sense, but unfortunately the weather is turning a bit cold at the moment. To answer you question it is very intermittent, but I think it has only happened when up to temp. Kinda made sense to me that it would only happen in "closed loop" operation.

Yea, I was trying to figure out if it was a "closed loop" issue or not ...trying to narrow it down.....BTW I think I got the term wrong, to Honda I think they might call it the "rotary air control"....
