Car stalls out on v6 auto
every so often i would start my car (only like 5 times in 10 months so far) and it would sound like its choking then stall out... after like 2 or 3 times and or pressing the gas itll start and run fine..... 2 times it came up with a code that cleared itself after about 2 days and the other 3 times had no codes at all
im thinkin vac line or fuel issue but no idea where to start

RE: Car stalls out on v6 auto
The next time it throws a code, go to AutoZone or Advance Auto Parts ASAP while the check engine light is on. Get the code number and post it here.
Some may be able to offer some help based on the description itself.
If it cranks, but sounds like it is "choking out" it sounds like a fuel issue to me. Possibly the filter screen on the fuel pump is clogged. You can access the fuel pump throughan access hole in the trunk. You will have to pull out the pump to access the "filter screen." The fuel filter is not separated from the pump in your model accord. That "filter screen" i described serves as the "fuel filter."
However, I do not know that it would throw a code if the filter screen was clogged. So I am interested in seeing what the code is....
