Default 2006 Accord EX Coupe 4-Cyl, Stalls from idle like out of gas...

Hey guys,

My car starts fine, runs fine at higher speeds, but sometimes when I start it up, and it'll stall out after the engine fires up like a lawnmower out of gas. I would figure the fuel filter, but from what I understand, that's not designed to be replaced in this car.

The oil light and the battery light come on and no other lights come on. I can turn the ignition and it'll start fine again.

It seems to be something about giving it gas from an idle, like it kicks up at first then, some times it just drops back down and can't get up and stalls out.

Any ideas?

Dan

I would first check that the throttle cable has a little slack in it, also clean the throttle body and IACV.
Check for vacum leaks around the intake and vacum hoses.
