I was out this evening and made a few stops.Car started no problem every time I started. Ran into get dinner and on the way home at a stop light the car sputtered twice then stalled.No warnings or anything,now it won't start.It sounds like it wants to but won't ignite.
What could be wrong and is it easy to fix?

 

it is IMPOSSIBLE for us to know what is wrong or what it wil take to fix it........

could be a # of things,,, if lack of fuel......main relay, fuel pump,

if lack of spark, coil, rotor, ignitor, it could even have a broken timing belt

so my friend you need to diagnose ,,,,,,,first off,, remove the oil filler cap,, have someone crank the engine and see if the rocker arms move up and down,, if they DO NOT most likely it is a broken timing belt,,,,,if they do

get a can of carb cleaner, remove the air tube that goes to the throttle body, open the throttle plate via the cable, spray some cleaner in there, try starting car,, if it does it is a fuel problem .. if it still does not,,

remove a spark plug wire, stick a screwdriver in the plug wire, ground the screwdriver, have someone crank the engine and you watch to see if it is getting spark , careful not to touch the metal or you will get shocked... if no spark,, you need to diagnose if it is coil, ignitor, rotor
