I don't have a carfax membership so I can't run it for you, but one question:
Is this for sale at a dealership or a private seller?
If it's at a dealership they should provide a carfax for you for free.
On the other hand, If I were selling my car privately, I would provide a carfax as well...
Have you asked the seller for one?

 

Nevermind. Ended up being a hoax. Sure am glad we didn't get too far into everything before we figured it out....
