Ok guys just wondering but do you think that this fluid would do ok in my 1996 Automatic Accord? Its a lot cheaper than the Honda fluid but if it doesnt work then I can return it, I was just trying to save a few bucks.

My answer - No do not use it, spend the $8 a quart (or less) for the Honda fluid and don't risk it.

 

Well I did the flush and found metal peices in it ...What should I do ... Im super worried right now

 

Some metal is okay, normal wear and tear. Worry when there are chunks. I've had good luck with castrol multi import

 

The thing is that it was large shavings. I would say around 1cm in circumference. The mechanic that i trust very much pointed it out and said that I only have 6 months to a year till it goes, and im a broke High School student so idk what to do .

 

drive it til it blows, then take it to your school's auto shop and do a transmission swap

 

does it have problems shifting?
