Default Changed blower resistor, now blower will not shut off

I have a 2003 Accord 4Cyl Automatic. I ran the DTC test and also got a N code. After replacing the blower resistor, the blower ran, the compressor clutch engaged, and the AC got cold. The problem is , it will not turn off the blower. It runs on high in all speeds, and will not shut off, or display that it is shut off on the fan speed gauge display. I did check all fuses related # 30 and #21. As well as changed the relays under the hood, to make sure they where not faulty. Sorry I posted at the end of another thread same question. Newbie.

Thanks for the help.

Repeat the DTC test to see if you get another code.

What brand of resistor did you get?

I repeated the DTC test, and it showed the same code reading "N".
I bought the resistor from Advance Auto. There part # RU1092.
Brand is Intermotor . UPC 0 25623 34356 3.

Thanks for the suggestion for rechecking the DTC. This confirm what I was hoping. I went back to the auto part store and got a identical blower resistor replacement. Everything is working great now.
Thank You guys for having such a rocking forum !! This save me at least $200-$300 if the tech was honest, and probably $800 or more if he where not,(new compressor).

gotta love defective parts right out of the box...if that wasn't it, you may have got the wrong one, different for coupe and sedan...don't ask me why.
