Changing the braking fluids or engine coolant first?

Is it okay if I just get the cheaper service for both where they don't completely take all of it out but only some of it and replace it with new fluids?

No offense, but I would put the money into the proper service of a complete brake fluid change and radiator flush...It is much more important than replacement of your scuffed bumper from your other post. That is a very minor cosmetic issue and can be addressed at a later date if necessary. Buy some Meguires Scratch Fix...about $6.00 a tube and works very well.

Okay, so maintenance first cosmetic later.

I decided to go to Midas to change both coolant and brake fluid tomorrow, are they reliable? because the dealer ship charges a total of $278 to do both those things while Midas only charges $190.

That's kind of high for both places.

In my area, there is a dealership with an on-line coupon which will change both of those fluids for around $149 total. Check for any dealership on-line coupons first; some dealers even will accept other dealer coupons.

Places like Midas can be good or not. It all depends on the individual people working there. Some can be very good & I'm sure the same is true for dealers.
