If you try this, you may want to put the front up in the air. If you try it with the back in the air your odo is going to be the least of your probs LOL

You mean to say that the Accord is FRONT wheel drive?

Has anyone attempted this? Is it even possible?

I've done it before on non digital american car speedos. (Possible yes, not to time consuming, cheaper than purchasing a new speedo off of ebay.)

My qustion is directed more twards' non digital honda speedos.

Just received a used odometer/speedo on Ebay for $50.00 with 275,000miles. It now has 105,000 miles. All in all, it is possible, just pic your favorite number...and its fully functional.

It'll be going back on ebay.

I completely mis-understood your question origonally... I thought you were trying to roll back a digital one not a manual one.... When I purchased my accord (used) the owner had replaced the speedo, because of that she included the origonal one that she took out for accurate mileage reporting, I played with it and as you found with a little inginuity it's not hard to roll them back.. or forward for that matter... it's still illegal...

Very True, Highly illegal, so is smoking weed, speeding, street racing, modifications to the emissions/exhaust system (especially fart can exhausts, lol), removing your catalytic converter, (true in california) ANY modification to the intake system(must have a CARB number if you want to drive that car legally), nitrous on the street, too-low drop kits, neon / accent lighting(gay), hydraulics. too-loud stereos.

This world would be boring, if we obeyed all laws.

Its still, Highly Illegal.

It's such a pain. Hooking a power drill up to the end of the speedo should work, turn the drill on high and leave it reverse. It takes a long time to get back many miles.
