Code 12 is EGR valve lift sensor circuit fault. It means a faulty input to the ECU from the valve lift sensor (short, open, or inconsistent perhaps) has been detected. Did you reconnect the EGR valve lift sensor? There is a lengthy diagnostic that must be stepped through to determine the fault source. If you download the 94-97 Accord shop manual (see DIY link for online manuals), you can perform the tests to find the fault.

good luck

Problem Solved. Went to auto zone, made sure i had the right code. Went to the mechanic where this guy wanted to charge me $55 to clean the valve. I told him that i forgot to connect the vacuum hose to the EGR valve and dwas driving the car. So last night i connected the hose, this morning i got the code cleared by another mechanic, FOR FREE WOOOO, could have done it myself. But hey save me the time. THANK YOU GUYS FOR YOUR HELP!!!!
