Default check engine light

Hi everyone, I have a 2000 honda accord lx with about 93,000 miles on it and just recently the check engine light has popped on and has stayed on... I've also noticed that my car isn't running as good as before, a little sluggish... any ideas that would be causing this???

Drive your car to Autozone and have them read the codes. They do that for free.

Post them on here, and you will get better advice on what the problem is.

It could be any number of things.... the fastest/easiest way to figure it out is go to some place like autozone and they will read the codes for free, then post the codes and we can tell you what the most likely culprit is, how to troubleshoot it, and how to fix it....

Welcome to the forum!

(I just realized that PAHonda said the same basic thing...)
