Default Check Engine Light/Readiness Codes

I have a 2012 Honda Accord and apparently the battery ran low when it was at the dealership and now when I turn the key to the on position without the engine running, the check engine light goes out after 20 seconds and then blinks 5 times. The owner's manual says that the readiness codes aren't set. How can I fix this problem so the diagnostics operate normally?

Thank you.

This should resolve itself when all system checks are complete.

If it persists for more than a day or so, I would return to Honda for diagnosis.

good luck

It's been 4 days now. I called the dealer and they said the readiness codes cannot be reset manually and will reset automatically.

Depending on how much you drive and that it could take a bit. They (the dealer) should be able to tell you the conditions the car has to be driven in to set this.....
