Default Checking fuel injectors on 1997 accord V6

I’m having trouble accessing the fuel injectors on my V6. I removed the bolts on the plastic manifold cover but can’t remove it because of 2 obstacles. There’s the throttle linkage that runs partially over the plastic cover.

Is it a simple matter of removing the cable or does it evolve adjusting once you reconnected it?

I was able to lift the plastic cover enough to slip a hose and use it as a stethoscope and one particular injector was load.

Unclipping a throttle cable will not change the cable's length, so you do not have to adjust the length.

I am not so familiar with the V6 setup, but the only place where cable length will be an issue is where there are two nuts to adjust the tension. It may be a good idea to adjust the tension. Its really quick and easy to do. Google rawvJop772E. The video shows the adjustment.

For Hondas the general rule is the cable needs to go at least a bit slack when you let off the gas pedal. So you can re-adjust it after you're done. Just make sure there's a little bit of slack & the throttle closes completely. Hondas DO NOT LIKE to have someone use the throttle cable to adjust their idle RPM.
