sounds like a vacuum leak tbh. It will trip up your MAFs and TPS. Sluggish throttle response, high idle. Use a vaccum gauge with your MAP sensor to determine whats happening.

 

wouldnt i get a lean code eventually? I havent gotten one. I tried checking for leaks with a propane torch too. nothing.
But maybe a leak when the vacuum is being drawn. something is leaking then, like a bad check valve on one of the hoses?

 

plug brake booster hose into vacuum gauge while car running, check voltages. Report back.

 

into vacuum gauge? I could plug the brake booster and take absolute manifold pressure readings from the map sensor and compare
