I have a 99' Accord LX 5-speed with 129,000 miles. I was wondering is it possible for the clutch to make noise. it is the factory clutch. i really can't explain it, its like a SHSHSHSHSHSHSHSHSHSH sound coming from under the hood and it goes away when i push in the clutch, or could this be tranny problems? thanks

 

if it is coming from the tranny and it goes away when you depress the clutch , it could be mainshaft bearing noise.......have it checked out by a shop , possibly one that specializes in Hondas or a Honda dealer
