Code 14 honda accord

Default Code 14 honda accord

My car was running good then all of sudden it die on me,,,,,, so I change the main relay and it started got home and shut of again so now im able to warm it up and shuts down I don't get any power to my fuel and my sparks so that's when I got that code 14 is that something wrong with the TCU or the ECU

is the code 14 from the D4 or the check engine light?

its from the d4 its funny its like it takes a break lol and then I get power all over again and then it starts but a minute passes by and turns off

I have one more question. What year, model (EX,DX,LX) is your accord? 4/6 cylinder as well.

oh its a 95 lx 4 cylinder

A code 14 from the TCU indicates an ECU problem. ECU is likely the problem (it could be a bad TCU).

You will need an ECU from a 94/95, LX/DX, Automatic Transmission accord. These are easy to install and used ECUs can be found at junkyards or U-Pull-It yards.

IM LOOKING FOR A ECU THAT WOULD WORK FOR MY CAR MY OLD ONE WAS 37820-P0J-L50
385-102805
its a 4 cylinder non vtec and believed is a LX
do I need to get one the same or get it program

Your accord is California emissions. You should get the ECU from a 95 LX accord with an automatic transmission.

That is the only accord that has that ECU part number.

You do not need to program that ECU, because there is no immobilizer (or Rf chip in your key).

ok I put a used ecu and tcu from the same Honda now it turns on good but I get a check engine light now and I get 9 blinks any clues thanks
