YourCYP sensor is inside the distributor, & can only be replaced by replacing the distributor. First check the plugs at the distributor, for loose/dirty/corroded pins, loose wires, maybe some wiring that has rubbed thru the insulation, etc...
Then take off the distributor cap & rotor. Down deep inside, there's star-pointed things on the distributor shaft with magnetic sensors reading the points of each star. One of these is the CYP sensor. Look for magnetic crud sticking onto that stuff; clean it up.
If the inside of the distributor is filled with rust-colored dust, then the bearing's shot. Get a new distributor.
Rule out the simplestufffirst before getting a newdistributor$$$. If it only happens occasionally, I don't know what to tell you about how to guess how long before it gets serious.
