Code p0401
it pulls up stuff about the egr, now i put a cheap intake on the stock housing, and i am thinking that could be the cause of this light coming on, but it might be the sensors, could a oversized intake do this, or casue this code to come up?

RE: Code p0104
No, intake piping has nothing to do with that.
Mass Air Flow (MAF) Circuit Intermittent What does that mean? Basically this means that there is a problem with the Mass Air Flow High (MAF) sensor or circuit. A more technical description would be that the MAF is producing incorrect air flow readings. Symptoms You will likely not notice any serious drivability problems, although there may be symptoms such as a general decrease in power or sluggishness. Causes A code P0104 may mean that one or more of the following has happened: [ul][*]The mass air flow (MAF) circuit is incomplete (broken / frayed wire, etc.)[*] There is an air leak in the intake system[/ul] Possible Solutions The simplest thing to do is to reset the code and see if it comes back. Then start with the cheapest, easiest repair procedures: [ul][*]Verify that the Mass Air Flow Sensor wiring is connected properly and that there are no broken / frayed wires.[*]Inspect for any air leaks near the MAF sensor.[*]Check the voltage of the MAF sensor (refer to a repair manual for vehicle specific information)[*]Replace the MAF sensor.[/ul]

ll i was pulling it from memory and i thought it was 0401 lol, but if its not getting enough vacume from the intake thenO.o mabe, i just dont wanna shell out 134.44$ for a new EGR sensor\

RE: Code p0104
Use my search to find "EGR ports" it should point you to many instruction and a Tech2Tech PDF of the procedure, it's very simple. I didn't say replace the valve, clean it. This is a free fix.

mmm ok, so will the light reset itself, casue autozone no longer lets me "borrow" there obd meter to "Check" a code lol

RE: Code p0104
You can pull the ECU fuse for 30 seconds and it should clear the codes. Other stores have scanners too, why won't AutoZone not let you use them? They provide them free of charge, assuming if parts need to be replaced you buy them from them

RE: Code p0104
they got fined thousands of dollars, becasue people were resetting there engine lights, so emission standards would not have been met, you know what i mean? iots becasue people reset their lights
