collant overflowing from radiator and reservoir
I have honda accord 95 4 cylinder. The other day (hot day), my engine got over heated and could hear coolant boiling (gurgling) when I opened the hood as well as some coolant had overflowed off the reservoir to the ground.
Today, I bleeded the coolant out to clear up the coolant passage (assuming problem) and filled coolant in radiator upto its neck, then I let engine idle without cap on. But within a minute or two, the coolant started to come out from the top so soon and had to put the cap on to stop it. Is this unusual for coolant to come out so soon? Does it rise coolant for a little bit then stops overflowing from the top? Did my engine got overheated so quick that coolant overflowed from the top? Do I have a head gasket blown?
Appreciated your comment. Thanks and have a good day!

Yes, radiator cap (15 psi) is good because it came with a new radiator (Chinese made OEM) about a year old and I have not driven much with this new radiator. But a week ago this new radiator had a leak at the bottom seam area a little bit (minor leak). So I fix the leak with Bar's Leaks Radiator Heavy Duty Stop Leak with lube oil for water pump (pelleted formula).
I bleeded out coolant quite a bit spilling out on the ground. For its next step, I could not idle engine with radiator cap off because coolant started to come out of the top in minute or two and had to put the cap on to stop it. Should I have let it go longer spilling off the top and on to the ground? If so, how long?
Yesterday, I tested for blown head gasket. I had a little white smoke and water spitting out from the tail pipe when I idle the car and warmed up. Water was spitting out continuosly even I idle for long time (17 min). I also pull out all the spark plugs, and saw no coolant foul. also crank engine and no coolant coming out. One of the spark plug had a little bit of white stain. Can we confirm that I have blown head gasket?
BTW, my radiator fan works well because the other hot day when my engine was over heated and lost some coolant from the reservoir spilling out, my radiator fan came ON for a quite a long time on and off.
