Computer chip hanging from the glovebox

Default Computer chip hanging from the glovebox

I will first go and tell you i have no experience at all with hondas or accords. a friend has a 96 model andthis was hanging from under her glovebox.

can't read the label in the second picture, but the close up shot of the circuit board in the third picture was nice; too bad it wasn't a closeup of the label on the front.

It would appear that it says "Timer, Rad, Fan" on the front of the box.... That third picture has a nice shot of the diagnostic connector though! Anyone want to take a guess at what it's for??? *L*

If it is the rad fan timer unit it is supposed to be mounted behind the passenger side kick panel.
