Cooling problem NEED HELP 96 CD7 F22B1
so i bought a 96 CD7 Coupe w/ the F22B1 motor as a potential money maker. i knew when i bought it that it had an overheating problem. first thing i did was bring it home and check that for myself. it overheated after about an hour of running at idle. next thing i do is remove the thermostat and drain the coolant and add a coolant cleaner flush with nothing but water and run it again and after about an hour it overheated again. (temperature here was around 85) i then think water pump and proceed to remove the timing belts and water pump only to find that there is nothing wrong with the water pump.
i need you guys expertise on this what do you think?

How does the inside of the water passageways look? Crusty scale?
What about inside the radiator? Maybe the radiator is plugged? Maybe the outside of the radiator is packed with crud so air doesn't flow through?
