Default Cooling system Hose brands recommendation

does everyone here recommend using Gates hoses for my cooling system? or another brand. I understand Silicon hoses are best. I am upgrading my original Heaters Hoses and may do the Radiator in the process based upon inspection.

my heaters hoses looks horrible, all original. I pretty much changed everything else. plus im due for a nice coolant flush after a very long hot summer in Florida.

here;s a crazy story. I had a new radiator put in and upper/lower hoses. the next day the upper hose blew a 1/2 inch hole in it. so I look at the hose and its says, Made in China. lol so I replace with a USA made hose. no issues years later.

Don't buy chinese cheap knockoffs. Gates, Continental, and Goodyear make quality hoses. Silicone is excellent but pricey and unnecessary unless you want to spend the money.

Gong with Gates. found all 3 heater hoses at low prices. found all 3 hoses for $75 including shipping. amazing deal. 2 from Rock Auto and 1 from Partsgeek.
