Cost of Getting New Main Relay?
Hi All:
I'm getting the same problem as many of you are getting with my 99 accord not start under hot weathers. After reading several threads, it seems like I need to get my main relay replaced (by the way, what does "turn over" mean?) I was just wondering how much does it normally cost to get it replaced at a mechanics. Thanks!

"Turn over" is a term that's very often mis-used. By someone who is asking for help, but they aren't describing the problem very precisely...
Just for grins, here's my version of the proper language... [sm=icon_blah.gif]
Cranking = the starter motor is spinning the crankshaft.
Firing = combustion in the cylinders; butmaybe it doesn't really keep running.
Starting & running = engine actually starts after cranking & firing.
A new relay might be $50?
If you know how to solder, you can fix your main relay. Normally they fail because of defective solder joints on the circuit board. The joints are brittle, they crack, and occasionally they fail to make contact. Just heat up the joint to re-melt the solder into a proper connection.
