Default Cruise Control Issues

Hello all. My name is Brian and I am new to the forum and new to Accord Ownership. I have a 92 sedan that I am having some issues with.

I am having problems with my cruise control not working. The light in the switch comes on and the light on the gauge cluster comes on when I hit the "Set" switch and it turns off when I hit the brakes. However, the car does not hold speed. I held the button and the throttle for 10 seconds and still no deal.

I'm guessing there is a problem with the cruise throttle cable, however, I have no idea where this is located. Is the unit at the left front of the engine compartment the cruise control unit? I followed the cable from here into the firewall and I see another one coming out of the firewall and going to the throttle body. Is there something inside the dash that might be malfunctioning, or do any of you have any other experiences with this type of malfunction?

Any ideas?

Thank you for any help or info.
