cv axle

After reading a lot of glowing reviews on various Acura web sites, I just swapped the 1-Year old Duralast axles (probably repackaged Cardone units) on my TL with a very inexpensive set of new APWI axles; I believe APWI makes axles for most Accords and they are typically between $45 and $50 per side. Not bad, under $100 for two new axles which operate nice and smooth with nary a shimmy.

The intermediate shaft is HIGHLY unlikely to be your issue.
If APWI axles weren't available for my car, I'd opt for these:

thanks, axle came in today, I think I should get a set ring for the intermediate shaft, just in case other one is rusted or corroded.
44319-S84-300 I think it is this one. will see if there is one at the dealership.

can't get axle nut off, broke two breaker bars. wd 40, candle wax. does this mean axle is frozen to hub too, how do I get it off ?
going to grind off some of the nut with a 4 inch grinder, to weaken it. then hit it with a breaker bar/socket again.

Is the car on the ground. If you're using a breaker bar and have a pipe to go over the bar for more length use that. I usually use my jack pipe as it's 5 ft long. It will break it easily. Once broken then lift off the ground
