Default CVaxle/joint replacement

Once again my sister dropped off her 1998 Accord 4 door 4 cyl, stick shift and I do not believe it has the anti locks although I am not for sure how to tell if it did. Car was making a clicking sound while in reverse and the wheel is turned. I did some internet research and the majority vote was a CV joint. Keep in mind this is on the PASSENGER SIDE, I managed to remove all but the cup looking unit that is still in the trans housing. How do you get that out of the trans?? Also the lower arm ball joint needs to be replaced, what tools do I need for this?? As always thanks a million!!

Default RE: CVaxle/joint replacement

You don't need to disassemble the axles/CV joints. Just taking a large screwdriver and the axles pop out of the tranny. They just have a retainer clip holding them in. Good luck.
